Baldev informs Deepika that he plans to take Chandu with him once Chirag brings her home. Deepika objects to this, stating that she does not want Chandu to be separated from her father. When Chirag arrives to meet Ragini, Deepika quickly sends Baldev out through the back door. Ragini inquires of Chirag concerning the absence of Chandu. Chirag explains that Chandu is unwell. Baldev appears simultaneously with the intention of acquiring Chandu. Baldev is instructed by Chirag to make sure Chandu’s mother is present if he wishes to take her. Chirag calls Mishka after leaving Deepika’s house and complains about her, accusing her of abusing his daughter. Chirag accepts Mishka’s invitation to dinner to calm him down. On his way, Chirag spots Siddhant with another woman. He confronted Siddhant and made the accusation that he had neglected his ill daughter to spend time with another woman. Siddhant clarifies that the woman is his sister, Deepika, and that he is married only to Shivani.
Siddhant tells Chirag that Chandu is his daughter and urges him to reflect on his actions. When Chirag tries to hit Siddhant, he restrains him and leaves with Shivani, calling Chirag a “loser” on his way out.
Meanwhile, Deepika is upset because Chandu didn’t visit her. Later, Siddhant and Shivani visit her. While Ragini goes to fetch water for them, Shivani informs Deepika that Chirag humiliated them and had a fight with Siddhant. Siddhant then reveals a shocking truth: Ragini, not Mishka, is Deepika’s real daughter. Lavanya arrives and interrupts Shivani’s attempt to carry on the conversation. Shivani and Siddhant leave because they sense tension. Lavanya signals Shivani not to reveal anything and then distracts Deepika by calling Chandu. Though Lavanya wants to tell Deepika the truth about Ragini, she decides to wait for the right moment.
Later, Chirag goes to Mishka’s house for dinner. Mishka serves him juice laced with an intoxicant. As Chirag begins to feel its effects, Mishka dances with him while he imagines himself dancing with Deepika. Mishka attempts to kiss Chirag and take advantage of him, but he manages to push her away.
In the meantime, Chandu tells Deepika that she needs her and wants to go back to her. Chandu and Ragini ask Deepika to sing them a lullaby. Deepika obliges, and the two fall asleep. Deepika is reassured by Omkar that they will care for Chandu. Deepika hears a commotion outside at once. She finds Chirag, drunk and belligerent, creating a scene. He accuses her of leaving him for Siddhant and demands she listen to him. Deepika firmly tells Chirag not to misbehave in her neighborhood. Drunk and emotional, Chirag confesses that he is still hurt but admits he still loves her.
